A website for everyone.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
How this site is designed
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In particular:
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, including the welcome panel and menus
- A “Skip to content” link appears first when using the keyboard
- Animations are reduced or removed if your device asks for reduced motion
- Text and backgrounds are chosen for strong colour contrast
- Form fields have clear labels and error messages
- The welcome panel can always be closed and reopened with “Choose Your Area”
